I have had these brushes for a little over a year at this point and absolutely love them.I really can't find anything negative to say about them.I suppose if I were to try hard, my only complaints would be a) they do take a couple days to dry after washing & b) I would prefer for one of the fluffy angled brushes -simply because there are two that are nearly identical- to be replaced with a larger fluffy dome brush (BS-Mall sells one in another set of theirs that is fantastic). However, that is just me being a little fussy. The drying time doesn't bother me really. More so a heads up for anyone who is use to their brushes drying more quickly.All of these brushes perform just as they should & better than you would expect considering the price. They all pick up & deposit color very very well. I find that they perform as well with liquid/cream products as they do with powders. The top of bristles are white which allows you to see how much product you have picked up & what you may have used them with last. This also helps you see/decide when you may need to clean them. They are fluffy & soft but nicely dense.The large tapered/pointed face brush is more stiff than the other face brushes but still as soft. This makes it nice for applying setting powder under the eyes or areas that need concentrated placement.I appreciate the shorter handles on the face brushes. I find them much easier to use than longer handled brushes I've owned/tried in the past. They are just the right length. Not so short that you feel you lose control or may drop them but not so long that you feel as though you are flopping them around when you are applying makeup.I still have not seen Any bristles come out of Any of these brushes! This surprises me. I also have washed them many times and they are still holding strong. None of the ferrules have come off of the handles & none of the brush heads are misshapen as of yet. I do always dry them upside down after washing.Overall, these are fantastic brushes & you absolutely cannot beat the price. I have had very nice brushes in the past...that were much much much more expensive.... yet, I do not see myself going back to them. They are really on an, at least, equal level...I even prefer these over many of those! Just saying...You may need to fill in this set with a few pieces (large fluffy powder brush, eyebrow spoolie, lash/brow comb, etc) but there aren't many you'd need & you could easily apply all of your makeup with just this set if you needed/wanted.I can't imagine ever regretting a purchase from this company. To date, I've bought at least 3 different sets from this seller & have been equally pleased with them all.Just buy them! You can't beat the price to quality & their money back guarantee is peace of mind anyway.*I paid for these with my OWN money at the full price they were listed. I have no many of these brushes, I love them. They are durable, love the rose gold color, the bristles are soft, the sizes are perfect, the application of the brushes are great. Overall no complaints.

* Update 4/24/2017I'm taking off a star for the following reasons:1.I noticed that after weekly washings, one of the brush heads came off.Whereas this can be easily fixed with super glue, I don't trust something that can come off that easily.What really stinks is that it was my favorite brush out of the set: the rounded off, slightly angled face brush.2.The smallest eye brush are pretty much crap.The liner brush will NOT work well with anyone who wants precision.Having said that, the other eye brushes are still terrific.Original Review: December 2016This is my fourth purchase with BS-MALL for makeup brushes and it's because I keep giving them out as gifts.Initially, I was introduced to them by my hair dresser who is also a great makeup artist. I was looking through her stuff, and I picked up one of the eye brushes at random, and thought they were some brand I've never heard of (because there was no marking on hers).When I asked them where she got these, she told me Amazon and that she would never buy eye brushes again from any other company because of the price.Skeptical, I bought a set for my colleague's daughter who graduated from high school last June.She liked them so much that she wrote me a thank you note (when does that happen any more with teenagers?) and my colleague said she wanted a set for herself.Sheepishly, I told her where to get them and how much they cost, and she was completely impressed.Since then, I've bought and recommended these to anyone who might be remotely interested, and I just bought another set because I want one for my car.The face brushes are great, though I am sticking to my Tarte foundation brush for my foundation.I have a lot of heavy acne scars, and that brush works the best.I'm sure the ones here would suffice, but I just like my Tarte brush the best (and it's big, so a few strokes does the trick).I use the face brushes here for my bronzer, highlighter, blush, and contour.They work great except for contour.I feel you need smaller brushes to get the precision you really need, but I'm pretty particular about how contour is applied.Another great thing about the face brushes is that they work as well on powders as they do with cremes.They pick up the right amount of product, I don't see too much kickback, etc.A few of the eye brushes are completely useless to me.That includes the last three smallest brushes.I'm sure they can be used for a makeup novice, but for anyone who is into the makeup game, I find that rather useless.I will probably give those to my daughter.But all the other eye brushes are absolutely fantastic, bordering on amazing.My favorite is the angled brush - I literally can probably just use that brush for my entire eye look, but I choose to be more precise by using other brushes.I have yet to use a brush that lays the foundation as well as it does and I have very expensive brushes from MAC and so forth.I would say the only brushes missing in this set that would be essential for someone who does a full face makeup would be:- a REALLY good contour brush (I highly recommend the Tarte one for that application as well)- a great concealer brush: the one here is not something I would use for concealer, but it is a very good eye brush!- smudger: if you never do the smokey eye look, you won't need that brush- under eye shadow brush: for the lower lash line; there's one that is sufficient, but not great- large powder brush: personally, I have no need for such a brush, but I've noticed this is a must for a lot of other womenThis is a GREAT set for a young woman who is just starting out with makeup.Literally, it'll take her years to reach the next level of brushes she'll need.I highly recommend this set for anyone who wants to try out brushes outside your normal commercial brushes (MAC, Sigma, even Morphe or Real Techniques --> sorry if I spelled that wrong).I think you'll be wildly surprised how good these are.I would NOT recommend this set for anyone who is looking to up their game in makeup application.You are going to be happier doing the Morphe subscription box (which I heard is fantastic, but I have no personal experiences with that subscription box).
