cooking videos, or just filming something while sitting down seems to be the best use out of this chest strap for your phone. if i get up and move too quickly or go for a walk the video shows just how much movement is being thrown around making the video not so great looking. The phone is 100% secured into the chest strap. so if youre buying this to go film your walk, i wouldnt. if you want to film cooking and/or videos sitting at a chair, for example, i recommend it. the camera mount is adjustable it just feels stiff if you try and move the mount around. my main complaint is that the chest strap doesnt exactly fit my chest, i do have a large chest as a male, its a struggle to put it on, even loosening the straps. but it works great for the videos i want to film. i would have loved an instruction manual on how to put it together, had to watch the sample video on amazon 100 times to learn how to assemble. id prefer Lego building instructions cause my brain is small.

bought this to hold my phone while i metal detect and to record my finds. i was surprised at how easy it is to put on and how well it holds my phone. it has strong holding tabs so it holds its position and hasn't slipped as of yet. I've used it for almost a year now and still holds tight. Good product worth the money.

I bought this gear to chest mount my iPhone while I walk my dog and stream our adventures with friends.Unfortunately, the chest and shoulder straps are so cheap and flimsy that even when tight, my iPhone 15 Pro Max bounced horribly. The bounce was so pronounced that the iPhone camera stability features failed and the stream annoyed my viewers rendering this rig useless.
