I've had this for years now and it still works great. Almost never needs to be charged for me, but I'm not an everyday user so maybe that will differ for others. But the battery life seems great. The only criticism I have with the product is that it would be nice if it had a battery % indicator light, or even just a light that is on when it charges. When you plug this in to be charged nothing tells you when it is finished charging. So I just always leave it on for a few hours and hope it's finished.

I have had various Norelco electric shavers over the years.The first, and most sophisticated/expensive, was metal and had a lithium battery with status indicator light(s).It came with loads of features and attachments that I never used.It worked for a couple of years and then just stopped working or stopped charging.It did not work with the power cord connected.The most recent one that failed was less fancy.It worked with or without he cord connected.It developed a fault in the push on-off button.It became intermittent and eventually would not turn on at all.So this time I deliberately went with a cheap model with a mechanical slide on/off switch.It is very light, which is a nice change.It does not have a lithium battery but that has not been a problem.It has enough attachments for my purposes (a beard), and in any case all the attachments from my earlier Norelcos fit this one.It seems to speed up and slow down on its own.Maybe that it a problem developing.So far I like it and If it last 2 years I will be happy.
