This product works very well - it deep cleaned my retainers well. It has various cycles depending on level of cleaning desired and also comes with tweezers to help lift objects out of the cleaning device. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an effective way to clean and disinfect small objects.

We bought this because we both wear teeth guards at night.While our dentist will happily clean them in their ultrasound tank when we come in for appointments, this allows us to get what seems to be a better clean in our own bathroom.My guard has gone almost transparent, and my wife's nearly so for her guards and there's no subtle ..."off" smell any longer.I took away one point for two issues:It's entirely possible to start the cleaning cycle with the lid off, exposing us to UV light.The cleaning cycle offers 5, 8, & 10 minute cycles, but our dentist recommends 15 minute cycles.This is a bit nit picky, and the ad clearly states the timing.We simply run two 10 minute cycles back to back.One other thing, we've been using Retainer Brite cleaning tablets occasionally in the cleaner, and they work great.

Easy to use, excellent at cleaning retainers, did not know how much of a difference it can make. Very pleased.
