Like that its small the quality - loud enough to hear where ever I am in the house - and love that it has a built in answer machine I don’t have to worry about picking up unwanted calls -

I just got it today so I can't say how well it holds a charge, and I have not tried to set up the directory. I plugged it in and read the instructions. It says "when the handset prompts you to set up the date and time," and tells you what to do. I was not prompted, but I don't care if my phone knows what day and time it is. I made a call and my friend and I could hear each other very well. Overall, I'm happy with it, but I dislike that I can't change the volume or the sound of the ringer because I find it loud and annoying. I'm glad it's not the only phone I have so I can put it in a room where the ringer won't bother me.
